GET TO KNOW THE AREA
We’ve loved getting to know Jackson, WY over the last few years and we can’t wait to share it with our friends and family. Consider coming out a little early or leaving a little late to explore this amazing area.
Here are a few activities we’ve either enjoyed or hope to experience in the future.
All of the wedding activities are located in Teton Village, so we highly recommend exploring this area.
The Mangy Moose is so much fun. Great food & drinks, cool Jackson-style atmosphere, & often amazing live music.
The Handle Bar at Four Seasons has a great patio & lively atmosphere. Great for drinks or a meal.
Teton Thai is a bit out from the main village area, but is walkable. It’s teeny tiny & the food is incredible.
Ride the aerial tram to the top of Rendezvous Mountain for spectacular 360 degree views. From there you can hike, grab a drink/waffle at Corbet’s Cabin, or simply take some pics & ride back down.
There are lots of hiking opportunities throughout the area, accessible from the base of the mountain or via tram/gondola. Feeling super adventurous? Ride the Teewinot lift & check out the downhill mountain bike trails. There’s also horseback riding, parasailing, rock climbing, bungee jumping, and a ropes course if that strikes your fancy.
TOWN OF JACKSON
Be sure to go check out the elk antlers in the square, the beautiful shops, & the delicious restaurants in central Jackson.
The historic Wort Hotel is pretty iconic & is a great place to grab a dink.
Wyoming’s oldest brewery, Snake River Brewing has great food, great beer, & a great patio.
For dinner, Rendezvous Bistro has a cool vibe & amazing raw bar.
Lastly, we recommend Cafe Genevieve for a homey log-cabin-style breakfast or brunch.
YELLOWSTONE & GRAND TETON NATIONAL PARKS
A trip to visit Teton National Park & Yellowstone is a must. We had a blast snowmobiling in the winter to see Old Faithful, the alpine lakes, & the amazing wildlife. We haven’t visited in the summer, but we can’t imagine that it would be anything short of spectacular.
THE SNAKE RIVER
The Snake River offers world-class fishing, unparalleled wildlife views &, in some places, mild rapids. Whether it’s to float, fish, kayak, or hike we’d definitely like to visit the river & think you might too.
